• Turn off the camera and remove the battery.


• Locate the shutter release button on the top of the camera.


• Gently press the shutter release button and hold it down.


• Turn the camera over and locate the two screws that hold the bottom cover in place.


• Remove the two screws and lift off the bottom cover.


• Locate the shutter blade curtain unit. It is a black plastic piece that is located on the right side of the camera body.


• Gently lift the shutter blade curtain unit up and out of the camera body.


• Insert the new shutter blade curtain unit into the camera body.


• Gently press down on the shutter blade curtain unit until it clicks into place.


• Replace the bottom cover and tighten the two screws.


• Turn on the camera and test the shutter.
