Installation:
1. Safety first! Park the vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Locate the existing lift support on the side you’re working on.
3. Using a flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool, gently pry off the retaining clips at both ends of the lift support.
4. Slowly lower the hood while supporting it with your other hand.
5. Remove the old lift support and replace it with the new one.
6. Hook the retaining clips back into place on both ends.
7. Repeat the process for the other side if needed.
