Latvian Sourdough Starter from famous old town bakery Cesu Maize
Our sourdough starter is made from a blend of rye and wheat flours, and it is naturally fermented for at least 7 days. This slow fermentation process gives our starter a complex flavor and aroma, and it also makes it very healthy. Sourdough bread is easier to digest than bread made with commercial yeast, and it is also a good source of prebiotics, which are beneficial for gut health.
