Intel X520-DA2 is an Intel approved third party transceiver of 10GBASE-SR SFP+ transceiver for 10G Ethernet. It’s a hot-pluggable transceiver with a maximum reach of 300 meters over multi-mode fiber (MMF) using 850nm wavelength. The transceiver is also compliant with the SFP+ Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and can be used in any MSA-compliant host device.
