Overview:
The SP3232EEN is a 3V, dual driver/receiver that provides the electrical interface between asynchronous communication controllers and data terminal equipment (DTE) conforming to RS-232-C specifications. Two drivers and two receivers are provided. The device meets the requirements of TIA/EIA-232-E and ITU Recommendation V.28. The SP3232EEN has low power shutdown capability, reducing the power consumption of the application when the device is disabled. External capacitors are required for transmit and receive filtering.
